Men's Basketball - Week 2
Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball continued last week as St. Thomas (3-0) and Trinity (2-0) sit as the lone unbeaten teams in the league through the first two weekends. The Celts are 3-0 for the third time in the last four years, while the Tigers are off to a perfect start through two games for the third time in the last four years. Non-conference action continues this weekend with a  packed schedule as 21 games are scheduled across Friday, Saturday and Sunday. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS

Player of the Week - Thomas Fleming, University of Dallas
Thomas Fleming of University of Dallas, a sophomore guard from Carlsbad, Calif., has been named the SCAC Men’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, November 11 through Sunday, November 17. Full Release   


Women's Basketball - Week 2
Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball continued last week, highlighted by Colorado College (2-0) opening its 2024-25 campaign and sits as the lone unbeaten team in the league that has started play. The Tigers are 2-0 for the second-straight year after previously accomplishing the feat just once in the prior 13 seasons. Non-Conference contests continue this week, highlighted by McMurry opening its 2024-25 campaign and 17 contest scheduled across the conference on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS

Player of the Week - Naomi Smith, University of the Ozarks 
Naomi Smith of University of the Ozarks, a senior forward from Lawton, Okla., has been named the SCAC Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, November 11 through Sunday, November 17. Full Release


Football - Week 11
The 2024 SCAC Football regular season came to a close last weekend as McMurry (7-3, 7-1) claimed Conference Co-Champion along with Texas Lutheran (9-1, 7-1) after defeating Centenary (4-6, 4-4), 49-12, to finished tied with the Bulldogs atop the league standings. It was then announced on Sunday that TLU secured an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament, the first SCAC representative in the dance since 2014. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS

Offensive Player of the Week - Kristopher Martin, McMurry University
Kristopher Martin of McMurry University, a senior wide receiver from El Paso, Texas, has been named the SCAC Football Offensive Player of the Week for games played Saturday, November 16. Full Release

Defensive Player of the Week - Brady Dygert, Austin College
Brady Dygert of Austin College, a senior linebacker from Magnolia, Texas, has been named the SCAC Football Defensive Player of the Week for games played Saturday, November 16. Full Release 

Special Teams Player of the Week - Cameron Welch, Texas Lutheran University
Cameron Welch of Texas Lutheran University, a senior punter from New Braunfels, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Football Special Teams Player-of-the-Week for games played Saturday, November 16. Full Release  


Swimming & Diving - Week 6 
It was a light week in the pool for SCAC squads as just Colorado College was in action. The Tigers took on Adams State in a rescheduled dual match and secured impressive wins by more that 100 points on both the men’s and women’s side. SCAC action continues this week, highlighted by Trinity hosting the Tiger Invitational as Austin College, McMurry, Southwestern and St. Thomas are all scheduled to participate. MEN'S SCHEDULE - WOMEN'S SCHEDULE

Trinity Wins 22nd SCAC Volleyball Championship
SHERMAN, Texas -- Top-seeded Trinity University won its record 22nd Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference volleyball championship Saturday afternoon with a 3-1 victory over Southwestern University in the title match of the 2024 SCAC Volleyball Tournament on the campus of Austin College.
