Around the SCAC - September 23

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. --  Week four of the 2019-20 fall season spanned from Monday, September 16th to Sunday September 22nd.

Men's Cross Country
Half of the 10 SCAC men’s cross country teams were in action last week, led by Trinity’s Harry Bellow turning in a top-5 finish at the OLLU Saints Collegiate Invitational. 

Women's Cross Country
Half of the 10 SCAC women’s cross country teams were in action last week, led by Dallas sophomore Anna Wilgenbusch winning her second straight 5K at the Muthama-Rogers Invitational.

Men's Golf
The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference men's golf fall season continued last week with five of the league's eight teams in action, highlighted by Southwestern and Dallas participating at the prestigious Rhodes College Fall Classic at Tunica National on Sunday and Monday.

Women's Golf
In a week of limited action, only two of the league's eight teams navigated the links for tournament play.

Men's Soccer
Nine out of ten Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer teams hit the field last week as designated non-conference contests highlighted the action, including Southwestern, Texas Lutheran, St. Thomas and Trinity all posting clean records. 

Women's Soccer
Seven of nine Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer teams were in action last week as designated non-conference contests highlighted the schedule.

Volleyball 
Despite weather playing a factor all 10 SCAC teams were in action last week, as JWU hosted the Cross-Divisional and Centenary hosted the SCAC Crossover.
