Around the SCAC - September 9

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. --  Week two of the 2019-20 fall season spanned from Tuesday, September 3rd to Sunday September 8th.

Men's Cross Country
It was a light week in the SCAC as only the Colorado College men were in action.

Women's Cross Country
The CC women competed at the UCSS Rust Buster Meet Saturday in Monument Valley Park, but did not score as only four runners towed the line for the Tigers.

Men's Golf
Five of the league's eight men's golf teams hit the links for their fall debuts earlier this week with all five participating in the John Bohmann Memorial Tournament hosted by Texas Lutheran University.

Women's Golf
Four of the league's eight women's golf teams hit the links for their fall debuts earlier this week. TLU hosted Dallas, Southwestern, Trinity and five additional non-conference teams for its annual Lady Bulldog Fall Classic, played at the par-71, Starcke Park Municipal Course in Seguin, Texas.

Men's Soccer
Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer continued last week highlighted by Texas Lutheran and Southwestern picking up a pair of non-conference victories. 

Women's Soccer
Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer continued last week with great success as Centenary, Southwestern, Trinity and Texas Lutheran all remained undefeated and Johnson & Wales head coach Ria Denny secured her first win as the manager of the Wildcats.

Volleyball 
The second week of the 2019 season saw nine of the league's 10 teams in action with No. 10 Colorado College posting the only undefeated mark of the weekend.
