Around the SCAC - November 04

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Week ten of the 2019-20 fall season spanned from Monday, October 28th to Sunday November 3rd.

Men's Cross Country Championship
Led by six runners in the top eight, the Colorado College men won their second SCAC men’s cross country title in the last four years Saturday morning at Widick Field in the shadows of Pikes Peak. 

Women's Cross Country Championship 
The Colorado College women took five of the top 10 spots and earned the program's first cross country title since 2016 as the Tigers defeated two-time defending champion Trinity University Saturday morning at Widick Field on the outskirts of Colorado Springs.

Men's Soccer

The seeds and pairings are now set for the 2019 SCAC Men’s Soccer Tournament following the completion of the regular season schedule on Sunday. Conference tournament seeding was based on Points Percentage, which is defined by the total points accumulated by a team divided by the total possible points a team could have accumulated based on actual games played.

Women's Soccer
Following the final full regular season weekend of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women’s soccer season, five of the six teams have punched their ticket in preparation for the 2019 SCAC Women’s Soccer Championship set to begin Friday, November 8th.

Men's Swimming & Diving 
Five SCAC men's teams were in action this past week with three - Centenary, McMurry and University of the Ozarks - participating in the Hendrix College Relays and Classic on Friday and Saturday. 

Women's Swimming & Diving 
Five SCAC women's teams were in the pool this past week, highlighted by Centenary, McMurry and University of the Ozarks participating in the Hendrix College Relays and Classic on Friday and Saturday.

Volleyball
Nine out of the ten SCAC Volleyball teams were in action this past week, highlighted by the last two conference matches of the season – Johnson and Wales at Colorado College and Dallas at Austin College.
