SUWANEE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic
Conference office announced two staff changes for the upcoming
2012-13 academic year.
Russell Kramer, SCAC Director of Communications and New Media, has
accepted the position of Assistant Executive Director at the
North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC), and Jeff DeBaldo, SCAC
Director of Sports Information, has been promoted to SCAC Assistant
Commissioner.
Kramer (pictured left), 26, recently completed his
fourth full year with the conference and his third as the league's
Director of Communications and New Media in 2011-12.
"Russell has been a huge part of the operational success of
the SCAC over the past four years," said SCAC commissioner Dwayne
Hanberry. "I can't thank him enough for his hard work on behalf of
the SCAC membership and for the manner in which he has represented
the conference on both the local and national stage. I have no
doubt that success will follow Russell as he transitions to
his new role at the NCAC."
DeBaldo (pictured left), 27, is entering his fifth year with the
conference after serving as the league's Director of Sports
Information for the past four years.
In his new role as Assistant Commissioner, DeBaldo will take
over all sports information and social media duties for the
conference, in addition to continuing in his role as SCAC
Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representative. He will
also continue to assist with conference championships
coordination.
"Jeff has done tremendous work for the SCAC these last four years
and I'm excited to watch him transition to his new role as
Assistant Commissioner," said SCAC commissioner Dwayne Hanberry.
"I've always been proud of the work that we've done at the SCAC
office and I know Jeff is eager to continue and to expand on that
good work."
