GREENWOOD, Ind. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) earned two accolades in the 2014-15 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) publications contest, including a "Best in the Nation" award.
The 2015 SCAC Baseball Preseason Media Guide was recognized as the best cover design among all conference entries across all Divisions. The guide also earned second place in the category of Conference Guides, finishing only behind the Division I Big 12 Men's Basketball Media Guide.
Katie Mucci, SCAC Director of Communications and New Media, designed and produced the winning publication.
"It is a tremendous honor for Katie and the conference to receive this recognition from our peers at CoSIDA," said SCAC Commissioner Dwayne Hanberry. "There is so much quality work being done by so many other conferences; to receive these honors reflects very well on the SCAC."
