COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado -- Texas Lutheran Volleyball was swept by #3 Trinity Friday afternoon as they downed the Bulldogs in 3 sets (11-25, 10-25, 25-21) on the campus of Colorado College.
Texas Lutheran will conclude the first SCAC Divisional weekend Saturday morning at 10 AM CST against Schreiner University.
Peyton Sulak (Needville/Needville) led all Bulldogs with 5 kills, hitting .333 in the match. Madison Weisinger (Friendswood/Friendswood) once again led the Bulldogs in blocks with two and Julia Chew (Cypress/Cy-Fair) contributed 9 assists.
Trinity gained the advantage early jumping out to a 20-7 lead in the first set - setting the tone for an afternoon that would come to an end in 3 sets for the Bulldogs.
