Women's Cross Country Athletic Communications

Tigers Compete in Final Prep for SCAC Meet

The Colorado College women's cross country team competed at the UW-Oshkosh Kollege Town Sports Cross Country Invitational Saturday in Oshkosh, Wis.
 
The Tigers, running in the collegiate pre-national portion of the meet, was led for the second consecutive race by freshman Megan Koch, who covered the 6K course in a time of 24 minutes, eight seconds. Senior Leah Veldhuisen finished second on the squad in 24:10, followed by senior Meghan Tanel, sophomore Lily O'Dowd and sophomore Alexia Preston.
 
In addition, sophomore Audrey Nelson ran at the Fort Hays State Open, completing the 5K course in 22:07.
 
Colorado College takes a week off before competing at the SCAC Championship Meet in Kerrville, Texas, on Saturday, Oct. 27.
