The Knights took an early 21-9 lead after Peter Bakker-Arkema connected from behind the arc with 8:06 remaining in the first half. However, sophomore guard Justin Berardino scored six points during a 14-8 spurt that saw Colorado College pull to within 29-23 after 20 minutes.

The Tigers went ahead for the first time in the second half when Milne dialed long distance with 13:26 to play in regulation, and led by as many as six points after intermission.
