SHREVEPORT, La. – The Hendrix College men's lacrosse team broke several school records in a 23-4 victory over Centenary College on Saturday morning. The Warriors (1-3) set new school records for goals (23), points (37), assists (14), shots (86) and man-down goals (5).
Hendrix led 8-2 at halftime, then scored 15 straight in the second half before the Gents (0-2) added two more in the final minutes of the game.
The Warriors took 42 shots on goal and picked up 60 ground balls, the second most in school history. They also won 19-of-27 faceoffs, the third most in a game for the Warriors.
Junior midfielder
Cameron Millstone took a school record 22 shots and tied the ground ball record with 15. He also had the second most goals in game with six to go with two assists for eight points. Freshman attacker
Patrick Rogers scored five goals and senior attacker
Zach Doelger had three goals and one assist. Freshmen

Zachary Baier scored two goals and dished out four assists each.

Dennis O'Hara picked up two saves in goal for the Warriors and freshman
Jesse Crowel had one.
Centenary was limited to just 14 shots, seven of which were on goal, and 24 ground balls. Colton Cawley scored three times for the Gents and Noel Veneracion had a goal and an assist. Matt Beilke led the Gents with eight faceoffs and Matt Letcher had 19 saves.
Hendrix will return to Conway on Monday to host Hanover College at 4 p.m.
