Freshmen Eric Dallesasse and Charlie Schneider led the Colorado College men's swimming and diving team to a 230.5-97.5 victory over SCAC foe Austin College Wednesday night at Schlessman Natatorium.
 
Dallesasse won three individual events against the 'Roos, the 200-yard freestyle, 200 butterfly and 400 IM races. Schneider, meanwhile, captured the 100 freestyle race, anchored the winning 400 medley relay team and won the 1-meter diving competition.
 
Fellow freshman Stefan Bay joined Schneider on the 400 medley relay team, then won the 100 – and 200 backstroke events. Senior Robbie Adler and sophomore Ethan Schick rounded out the winning relay team. Schick won the 100 butterfly, while Ian Carey (200 breaststroke) and Michael Heinonen (500 freestyle) also posted a victory for Colorado College on Wednesday.
 
"I am really excited about how we swam tonight," head coach Anne Goodman-James said. "It seemed like we were very tired in training this week, yet it was amazing how well we raced today.  Some of our times tonight were faster than we went at sea level a couple of weeks ago.  It was nice to see Charlie Schneider taking both diving and swimming events."
 
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, Jan. 7 when they host Wayland Baptist and Ohio Northern beginning at 5 p.m.
