Schreiner came out of the break hot, extending their lead to 10 twice in the third quarter and led 50-42 after three quarters. The Ladies, however, battled back and cut the Schreiner lead to 50-47 on a Mayberry three-pointer at the 8:49 mark of the fourth quarter. The Mountaineers built their lead up to as much as 11 (66-55) with 2:44 remaining and only scored two points the rest of the way but held the Ladies to one basket during the time and held on for the eight-point victory.
