Tigers Compete at CU Invitational

RESULTS

Led by personal-best marks from sophomore Julieanne Stanley and freshman Caroline Alba, the Colorado College women's track and field team posted some impressive results Saturday at the University of Colorado Invitational in Boulder, Colo.
 
Stanley surpassed the 100-foot mark in the javelin for the first time in her career with a throw of 102'3", good for seventh place.
 
Alba, meanwhile, finished 19th in the shot put with a toss of 33'8".
 
Junior Asmeda Spalding-Aguirre finished 11th in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:06.28, while freshman Liza Huschle finished 14th in the 100-meter race and 25th in the 200.
 
The Tigers travel to Wichita, Kan., for the KT Woodman Classic, April 14-15.
