Men's Soccer Picks up Double Overtime Win Over Colorado College

Men's Soccer pulled out the double overtime victory over Colorado College behind Daniel Castro's best performance of the season. The freshman would net both of the Celts' goals, including the game-winning strike in the 104th minute.

With the first half well underway, the Tigers would get on the board first in the 36th minute after an unassisted Colorado College goal. However, like many times before, St. Thomas would quickly respond with Castro's first goal of the game, assisted by Jayce Nunn.

In the second half, the Celts would have many scoring opportunities squandered, as they saw the game tick into overtime. Again, St. Thomas would be presented with a penalty kick to win the match but would fail to convert. Finally, midway through the final overtime period, Gabe Salako would find a cutting Castro who would find the back of the net, leaving the Celts victorious.

St. Thomas advances to 8-2-4 on the season as they head into the final week of conference play.
