Texas Lutheran's conference contests suspended through Monday
SEGUIN, Texas -- After a historic winter storm blanketed much of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference's geographic footprint, the SCAC announced the suspension of all conference competition originally scheduled for the week of Feb. 16-22 (Tuesday through Monday).
The suspension affects conference games in all team sports, including men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, and women's volleyball.
Also, TLU Men's and Women's Tennis home conference matches with St. Thomas (Texas), originally set for noon Saturday in Seguin, have been postponed. The teams will work to reschedule.
A decision on postponement or cancellation of TLU's home non-conference contests in baseball and potential non-conference softball games this weekend has yet to be made. A decision on those contests is expected today (Wednesday).
